2. CUT LINE Before you cut the line, take a minute to position a drip pan to catch the transmission fluid. Only that fluid that is in the line will be lost, generally less than 8 oz. Also, loosen the line nut a turn or two before it gets cut. You should use two (2) wrenches, one on the line nut, and one to back up the fitting that goes into the transmission. 3. The kit comes complete with it's own tubing cutter, just slip over the line and tighten down with the wheel aligned on the mark. Rotate the tubing cutter 2 turns, and then retighten. Repeat several times until the line is cut in half. |
