2.   CUT LINE
Before you cut the line, take a minute to position a drip pan to catch the transmission fluid.  Only that fluid that is in the line will be lost, generally less than  8 oz.  Also, loosen the line nut a turn or two before it gets cut.  You should use two (2) wrenches, one on the line nut, and one to back up the fitting that goes into the transmission.
3.   The kit comes complete with it's own tubing cutter, just slip over the line and tighten down with the wheel aligned on the mark.  Rotate the tubing cutter 2 turns, and then retighten.  Repeat several times until the line is cut in half.

Picture shows tubing cutter in place and aligned on cut mark.  Fluid loss will be minimal if parked on level ground, generally only a few ounces.

4.   ROTATE CUT LINE
Once the line has been cut, turn the short 90° piece 180°, so it faces the back of the truck.  You can retighten the line nut after the rotation.  Use two (2) wrenches  like when you loosened the line nut.
