These Kits, which are comprised of Select and High Quality Fasteners, offer the confidence and convenience of High Quality
Fasteners, organized and combined to provide an easy, low cost way of assembling engine
components or replacement hardware, for old worn-out fasteners.
We offer Kits for every Year & Type of Modular
Engine, from the Two Valve Engine to the Three and Four Valve Engines. Ours kits cover all Major and Minor
areas, from oil pan socket head bolt kits, to TPS & IAC socket head screw kits, and every area in-between.
We build all our Custom Modular Engines with our own hardware, and believe you should too! We are
the only company that I know of that offers this service. You wouldn't expect us or any other engine
builder to build you a new high performance or stock replacement engine with worn OEM parts, so why put up with re-using old
OEM fasteners, when there is a much better and stronger alternative? Our Socket Head Fasteners out-perform
the OEM stuff hands down. They are Stronger, Harder, more Durable and made with quality materials that
put you and your engine's needs first, not something a Detroit Bean-Counter came up with! We strive
for excellence in all we do, and it's no different with our Socket Head Kits. We offer most every fastener
for all Modular

Ford 4.6L Socket Head Stud Kits We use only the Highest Grade Metric Fasteners. Our
Socket Head Bolt Kits are comprised of the Finest Grade 12.9DIN, Black Oxide Fasteners, that are the
equivalent to our Grade 9-10 Fasteners. This is Military spec grade hardware, that will keep your engine parts together,
without worry or sacrifice. While cheaper than the Threaded Stud Kits, these Socket Head Kits give up nothing in
performance or strength. Sometimes it's just not practical to use a stud, and if that is the case, then you should
be using these. We use only the highest quality metric hardware, both in the Socket Head Screws and in the Heavy Duty
Washers that come with them. The Washers, are special 1010 Cold Rolled, Case Hardened,
Black Oxide Steel Washers. They have a Thickness Tolerance of +/- 0.050 In! Rockwell Hardened to
N Scale 80 , gives you excellent Load Distributing Characteristics that will spread the clamping forces out over a much
wider area. These Washers will not Bend or Distort, nor wear down, which allows for excellent torque retention and strength.
Our new Selection of Stainless Steel fasteners for the Ford Modular Engines is offered to the enthusiast
that not only wants quality hardware, but wants it to shine as well. Our Stainless Steel Socket Head Screws are Grade
A2 18-8 Stainless and will provide a great and flashy way or mounting your engine accessories for a very long time.
Don't make the mistake of comparing any of our kit components to "Hardware Store" hardware. We don't
use common or cheap fasteners, in-fact, all our fasteners, both Socket Head and Threaded Studs, are special built, special
order pieces. Where the common low grade 2 or 5 washers cost a mere 0.02 to 0.04 each, the Hardened, Black Oxide Super
Washers we use are some 25 to 35 times more expensive than those, with a couple of our kits climbing to over 75 times more
expensive! Our fasteners are excellent up-grades from factory hardware and were engineered for both the race and the
street user. Many of the Kits we have, especially the 03-04 Cobra and 99-04 Cobra & Mach1
hardware, are the only practical way to replace the old factory hardware with new components. Ford's stock is all
but dried up for many of these applications.
We have gone to great lengths to provide
you, our customer, with the very best in Fasteners for your High Performance Engine. Every Step, we sought to improve
on the system, and this is why, where we could, we used longer length bolts and screws. Where the threads allowed,
we maximized the thread length, to insure the highest amount of threads holding that piece together. Areas like
the Main Bearing Cap, Side Bolts, and the Cam Shaft Bearing Caps, we were able to increase
the thread count by some 5-10mm, enough to double the holding capacity in many items! This is the Performance you
and your engine both deserve and can expect from Pro Weld.
