Description
The Map/IAT Sensor stands for Manifold Absolute Pressure/Intake Air temperature. It measures the Air Pressure or Boost Pressure in the Manifold and also the temperature of that air. The ECM uses this information to adjust both fuel and timing to account for the readings.
